This notice explains what information SoberClock uses, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

What information we use

You can use the calculator without an account. Calculator inputs and preferences may be stored in your browser so they remain available on your device. If you create an account, we process your email address, profile preferences, and saved favourite drink definitions so they can sync across devices.

Calculator results

BAC calculations run on your device. SoberClock does not treat session calculations as authoritative health or driving records, and does not save your individual drinking sessions to your account.

Why we process information

We use information to provide the calculator, authenticate your account, sync the preferences you choose to save, maintain security, and respond to lawful requests. Where GDPR applies, this processing is based on providing the service you request, our legitimate interest in keeping it secure, and consent where required.

Storage and service providers

Account and synchronisation services are provided through Lovable Cloud. Information may be processed by infrastructure providers acting on our behalf and subject to appropriate safeguards.

How long information is kept

Browser data remains until you clear it. Account information is kept while your account is active and for any additional period required for security, legal, or operational purposes.

Your GDPR rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
